Remembering Our Sister Rose Marie Dulaney

Let's remember to Jenny VanGilder and her whole family in our prayers on the passing of her sister, Rose Dulaney.

Rose Marie Dulaney, 77 of Colliers, WV died peacefully on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at home.

She was born on October 23, 1938 in Four States, WV a daughter of the late Charles and Beulah (Collins) McClure. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Charles R. McClure in 2013, and her sister, Carol Huepp.. 

Rose graduated in 1957 from Mannington High School. She worked for 25 years as a kindergarten aide at
Colliers Primary School. Rose was also a member of the Colliers United Methodist Church and the Methodist Women as well as the Red Hat Diva’s, the Brooke County Retired Teachers Association, a lifetime member of the Colliers PTA, the Colliers Alumni Association, and the Colliers V.F.D. Auxiliary.

Rose is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Charles E. Dulaney at home, two children, Lynne (Kenneth “Sam”) Schupbach of Colliers, WV and Kevin (Paula) Dulaney of Follansbee, WV, three sisters, Gen Vangilder of Weirton, WV, Betty (Curtis) Michael of Mannington, WV, and Maggie (Bill) Maraney of Morgantown, WV, and four loving grandchildren, Ryan Schupbach, Devin (Ree) Dulaney, Keli Schupbach, and Kaylea Dulaney and her first great grandchild that’s on the way,

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 24th at 11:00 A.M. with Ps. Don Stilgenbauer officiating.

Interment will be held privately in St. Johns Cemetery in Colliers, WV.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Colliers United Methodist Church at 318 Pennsylvania Ave. Colliers, WV 26035.
